Glass and tree

As is usual with a bank holiday weekend, there is that little extra bit of time to try something new. Having had some lovely Instagram comments on our teaming up wood with glass engraving we have taken this one stage further. Forming a diamond shaped frame of holly wood to enclose a glass panel we have been busy on our small bandsaw cutting some tree outlines from a piece of laburnum. This is going to be mounted on top of the glass panel and surrounded in a coloured glass resin to give a stained glass silhouette tree design that should look great in front of any window or backlit scene. We are hoping that this will be ready for some photos to show you in the next week - resin drying time dependent.
